Mountain Life isn’t just a magazine, it’s a lifestyle. A vibrant, healthy, outdoor- loving lifestyle that we want to share with the world. We seek to
showcase the extraordinary characters and epic adventures that happen in British Columbia’s beautiful Coast Mountain range and the stunningly
diverse province of Ontario. People from all walks of life and all ages turn to the pages of our award-winning publication to get inspired to make
stories of their own.
OUR MISSION
OUR PRODUCTMountain Life is a perfect-bound, full-colour glossy magazine created with enthusiasm and integrity. It is printed paper certified by the Forest
Stewardship Council (FSC), a non-profit organization that supports appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the
world’s forests. We carry the FSC-certification logo with pride, because we support the highest environmental standards in an industry that uses
paper. Also a member of the much-respected 1% for the Planet initiative, we contribute to conservation, responsible management and community-
level benefits for people near the forests that provide our paper.

MOUNTAIN LIFE ONTARIO
WE KNOW OUR ONLINE AUDIENCE, AND THEY KNOW USOur online numbers have grown exponentially in the past year, an average of more than 118% across all platforms. This continued growth enables us to reach an even broader international audience — both locally and internationally. We now have fans in more than 43 countries, with a potential Facebook reach of almost 4 million and growing everyday.
We focus on the two primary demographics in Canada where outdoor pursuits are the number one passion. We target readers from all walks of life — from hardcore locals to fun-loving tourists and everyone in between.
WE HIT THE RIGHT SPOT
WE GIVE BACKWe’re more than just a magazine. We wouldn’t be where we are were it not for local support, so we make it a priority to give back. All Mountain Life-hosted events benefit a local charity, and we provide a creative outlet for talented writers, photographers and designers.
WE PRODUCE KILLER CONTENTThis is really the glue that holds it all together, both in print and online. We’re NOT only ski, bike, kayak or travel; mag we’re all of those together and more. We celebrate diversity everyday.

Esplanade Range, British ColumbiaDay 6, January 8th, 2015
The morning forecast called for fog clearing by noon, and it did. This was our 6th consecutive day touring, window shopping, hauling camera gear and breaking trail. This playful corridor, bordered by poppy pillows on each side, funneled into a mandatory crescent shaped cliff. Floating the skiers right fall line with cameras nestled in the creek basin, Eric Hjorleifson takes flight in route to one of the better faceshots of the trip.
