Chapter Chatter

Brimfield:

The Brimfield FFA Chapter sold pork chops to

the local community on October 24. By the end

of the day, 350 chops were sold giving the

chapter a net profit of $850. The chapter plans

to use this money to go to National Convention

this fall. The chapter would like to thank Larson

Insurance in Brimfield for giving them a space to

sell, as well as special thanks to all the

businesses and community members who

support the chapter.

My name is Rochele Rosa and I am your

Section 5 FFA President. I have been a

member of the Midland FFA Chapter for

4 years. During my years in the FFA I

participated in many CDE's, including

Ag Issues, Ag Comm, Parliamentary

Procedure, and Prepared Public

Speaking. I have also attended many

conferences such as 212 and

Washington Leadership Conference. My

experiences have made a huge impact on

my life and have shaped my decision to

double major in Ag Communications and

Ag Education now that I am a Freshman

at ICC. I look forward to meeting all of

you throughout the course of the year!
