The BLT SportTOUCH is an innovative integrated live production suite consisting of a BLT Video Server SMS-U Series, an RUS-Color Control panel and the new RUS-TAB. This unleashed solution provides a new production work-flow used by applications such as sportsslow-motion, clip contribution, on-the-fly high-lights creation, DVE Zoom and Telestrator.

The RUS-TAB is a touch screen tablet style control panel that provides the replay operator, or some other production staff member, with an auxiliary second screen for live control of Video Server material with integrated tools like real time Zoom and basic graphics capabilities, without rendering to an external workstation, thus saving time and space.

The RUS-TAB tablet style operation offers an intuitive interface with user friendly gestures like smartphones do: it is fun!This allow it to be used either as an extension by the replay operator in the OB-Van or to enable direct control by commentator and on-air talent.It could also be helpful to the �eld referee.

The RUS-TAB features full control of server functionalities as well as browsing capabilities. The IP-based connection can be wired or wireless.

All operations through RUS-TAB go on-air in parallel with HDTV full quality through BLT Video Server SMS-U Series and RUS-Color hardware control panel.

RUS-Color (Remote Unit System) has been optimized for professional users to provide a fast and ef�cient interface required for live sports applications: clip marking and management, sequences, play-lists, high-lights, multi-camera, networking to share raw material and Clips and more.

Key features include the familiar VTR look-and-feel control style with T-BAR and Jog/Shuttle control knob that ensures reliability and smooth control during rushing games or events.

RUS-Color boasts the largest color LCD display of its category and 4 independent transport control ports, thus allowing even a single operator to control simultaneously or independently a number of networked BLT Video Servers for instant highlight creation, live editing, browsing and use of shared real time material.

On top of this, RUS-Color is compact and can be easily �tted into OB-VANs.

The BLT SMS-U Series is a compact Video Server that can manage up to 10 channels, featuring simultaneous loop recording while playback, with full HDTV capability, stereoscopic recording for S3DTV and networking for material exchange.

Recording sources may include isolated cameras (ISO-Cam) or special cameras such as High Speed Cameras for Super Slow Motion or Ultra Motion/Hypermotion.

SMS-U series is not �just a Video Server�: thanks to the internal audio router, the multiviewer, the DVE zoom and the TeleStrator, it can be described as an all-in-one production center for live contribution and real time editing.

Playback channel con�guration can be set either as independent (up to four users) or as coupled for Program / Preview application.
