Hi Team, GE has launched the Vivid E90 and Vivid E95 systems this weekend at ASE in Boston. We’ve been doing this since Sequoia circa 1996) · AFI Stress-protocols acquire standard apical 2D views and quantify both longitudinal segmental and global strain wall motion assessment at each stress level · They also claim that they are now able to visualize red blood cells (aka spontaneous contrast…this is new??? answer

4D AVQ- modification of area measurements used inpredicate device (appears to be a model of the LVOT/Aoroot? Will learn more)

Tom Tec quantification tools (including 4D RV and LVfunction)

HD Live technology migrated from VolusonE10.Lighting/Shading maps (we can do this too with PRIME) Itdoes look quite nice for 4D TEE.

No improvements made to color Doppler noted. GE onlytouting 2D IQ improvements. (Could this be from the high-endOLED monitor?)

NO improvements noticed in 3D TTE imaging performed onthe booth.

Former GE rep/GE consultant reports the E80 will be theRadiology product

Former GE rep also claims the system no longer utilizes fansto cool system and is very quiet. (no mention of whether ornot its library quiet)

It looks as though the E95 will be the system for 4D and theE90 will be the 2D system. Similar to EPIQ 7 and EPIQ 5?More details to come.

    The systems are Windows 7
