WHAT MAKES A PODCAST GREAT?

WHAT MAKES A PODCAST GREAT?

Good Mic Technique• An expensive mic will not

make you sound better. Work on your mic technique first.

• Use a pop filter or shield– Will help with the

popping sound when you pronounce certain words with "Ps" and "Bs"

WHAT MAKES A PODCAST GREAT?

Good Mic Technique• The right distance

– Test, test and test again to find the best distance that works for your voice

– Get close to your mic• The further you sit away from the mic, the

more background noise you pick up• Don't Darth Vader the mic with heavy

breathing. Get close, but not THAT close
