FEAST OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION

With the Mass in honor of the Divine Child that

we celebrate this Saturday, December 7th, 2019, we light the exterior Christmas lighting of our parish and thus illumi-nate each family, group or person who has donated a decora-tive tree around us, being included in our intentions. Also the names inscribed in the large memorial tree in the corner in memory of your loved ones.

I invite all families with their children to come next Sunday, December 15th, 2019 to Bishop Valero Hall to receive the Visit of Santa Claus and spend a beautiful even-ing before starting our Novena from December 16th to 24th, 2019 at the Church at 7:00 pm.

Then I invite you to spend a pleasant evening with talent show in the same Bishop Valero Hall, where we will have several sales, music and entertainment, with 50/50 raf-fles and more surprises. Welcome.

You still have time to come and buy your tree with your Christmas star, or memorial stars for the living next to the Blessed Sacrament on the Altar. Please come to the Rectory in order to make the arrangements.

PASTORAL WORDS

Life is a Journey. it is a path, a journey to meet Je-sus. It is for the Christian to continually encounter Jesus, to watch him, to let himself be watched over by Jesus, because Jesus watches us with Love.

He loves us so much and he is always watching over us. To encounter Jesus also means allowing oneself to be gazed upon by him.

And the most beautiful gift is to meet Jesus. We meet Jesus every day.

How? Our whole life is an encounter with Jesus: in prayer, when we go to the Mass, when we receive communion, when we do good works, when we visit the sick, when we help the poor, when we think of others, when we are not selfish, when we are loving in these things we always meet Jesus.

SPONSORS OF THE HEART Next Sunday, December 15th, 2019, the organization “Sponsors of the Heart” will be selling tickets for a raffle that will help sustain their program. This organization is responsible for bringing children from other coun-tries with heart problems (heart disease), and few resources. These children will have a heart surgery which will be free of charge at the Shaio Clinic in Bogotá-Colombia. The money raised will support the expenses of transporta-tion and shelter in Colombia during the duration of the sur-gery and recovery.

FIESTA DE LA INMACULADA CONCEPCION

Con la misa en honor al Divino Nino que cele-

bramos este sábado 7 de diciembre de 2019, encendimos el alumbrado Navideño exterior de nuestra parroquia e iluminar así a cada familia, grupo o persona que nos ha donado un árbol decorativo alrededor, quedando incluidos en nuestras intenciones, al igual que los nombres inscritos en al gran árbol memorial de la esquina en recuerdo de nuestros seres queridos.

Les invito a todas las familias con sus niños para que vengan el próximo domingo, 15 de diciembre al Bishop Valero Hall para recibir la Visita de Santa Claus y pasar una linda velada antes de iniciar nuestra novena de aguinaldo entre el 16 y 24 de diciembre de 2019 en el templo a las 7:00 pm.

Luego les invito para pasemos una grata velada con show de talentos en el mismo Salón Obispo Valero, donde ten-dremos ventas varias, música y entretenimiento, con rifas 50/50 y más sorpresas. Bienvenidos.

PALABRAS PASTORALES

La vida es un viaje. Es un camino, para encontrarse con Jesús. Corresponde al cristiano encontrarse conti-nuamente con Jesús, vigilarlo, dejar que Jesús lo vigi-le, porque Jesús nos mira con amor. Él nos ama mu-cho y siempre nos está cuidando. Encontrar a Jesús también significa dejarse mirar por El. Y el regalo más hermoso es conocer a Jesús. Nos en-contramos con Jesús todos los días.

¿Cómo? Toda nuestra vida es un encuentro con Je-sús: en oración, cuando vamos a la Misa, cuando reci-bimos la comunión, cuando hacemos buenas obras, cuando visitamos a los enfermos, cuando ayudamos a los pobres, cuando pensamos en los demás, cuando no somos egoístas, cuando amamos.

En estas cosas siempre nos encontramos con Jesús.

SEGUNDA COLECTA Este fin de semana, 7-8 de Diciembre de 2019 la Segunda Colecta es para ayudar a todas las Comunidades Religiosas de nuestra Diócesis. PADRINOS DEL CORAZON El próximo domingo diciembre 15 de 2019, la organización “Padrinos del Corazon” estarán vendiendo bo-letas para una rifa que ayudara a sostener su programa. Esta organi-zación se encarga de llevar niños de otros países con problemas del Co-razón (cardiopatías) y con pocos recursos, para ser operados gratuita-mente en la Clínica Shaio de Bogotá-Colombia. Los dine-ros recaudados soportaran los gastos de transporte y esta-día en Colombia durante el tiempo que dure la cirugía y la recuperación.
