Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. (1 Peter 1:3) I begin this update with a word of hope. Not about the Coronavirus, but about Christ – He lives! And we who trust in Him have been born anew into a living hope through His resurrection. Neither disease nor death nor any dire circumstance can diminish our living hope. This living hope is evident in the faithfulness of our church. Thank you for your continued connectedness and care for one another. And thank you for your faithful giving to the ongoing ministry of the church, including our partnerships through the Southern Baptist Convention: the International Mission Board, North American Mission Board, North American Mission Board Send Relief, and Southern Baptist Seminaries, as well as the Arkansas Baptist State Convention and the Northwest Arkansas Baptist Association. And thank you for your patience and kindness as we continue to figure out how best to minister during this crisis. On behalf of the Pastors, Ministry Directors, Support Staff, and all our families, please know we love you, we are praying for you, and we remain ready to assist you. Brent Summerhill Senior Pastor We will continue Drive-In Church for the foreseeable future. While it is not the same as being together face to face, for many it does provide a sense of community in Christ which we are all desperately longing for. Follow the directions of our volunteers as you pull on the lot and tune your radio to 87.9 FM. Please stay in your cars. You may crack your window for ventilation. We will also continue to post the weekend sermon on our website and Facebook page.

Keep up with what’s happening through our website at bvbaptist.com and by liking and following our Facebook Page. And please share our posts to help keep others informed. Pastor Brent will also share updates on Facebook and through his Twitter @brentsummerhill.

Wednesday sermons (Pastor Daniel) and weekend sermons (Pastor Brent) will continue to be made available on our website and our Facebook page. Also, Pastor Brent regularly posts devotionals and Pastor Robert posts encouragement and songs on our Facebook page. Total income for March was $75,165.66. The monthly budget is $73,262.54. Actual expenses for March were $60,264. Thank you for your financial faithfulness! As we continue to pursue wisdom from God in our expenditures and as we continue to faithfully give, we are confident God will provide through this different and difficult time and prepare us for what is beyond. For those of us comfortable doing so, we may give our offering through a cracked window to a volunteer at the weekend Drive-In Service. We may also continue to:

• Drop off our offering during regular church office hours. • Mail our offering to 50 E Lancashire Blvd, Bella Vista, AR 72714. • Use the church’s online giving portal at bvbaptist.com. • Use a bank’s online BillPay system.

While we continue to ask Sunday School classes, small groups, and ministry groups to help us keep people connected, the most fundamental connection is always person to person. So, let’s individually keep praying for, calling, texting, and messaging one another. Go through the church directory asking the Lord to lay someone on your heart. Then reach out and encourage that someone. The greater encouragement will be yours.

The church prayer room remains open. Call 479-855-6644 or visit bvbaptist.com/prayer-ministry to share a prayer need. Contact Kris Melonis to volunteer.
