She is the Founding Director of the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School and has led the Harvard Coaching Conferences and the International Coaching Research Forum. In addition to her active consultancy, Carol is the Chief Supervisor for the Meyler Campbell business coaching program in London. She has published extensively on positive psychology and executive coaching and is frequently quoted in national media outlets. Background and Experience Representative Businesses Carol has been on the faculty at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School since 1985 and has been a senior supervisor there for over twenty-five years. Dr. Kauffman is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology and is an Examiner for the Board. She is also a Professional Certified Coach, and the Chief Supervisor at Meyler Campbell Ltd. She has had an active coaching practice for fifteen years. In 2009, Carol received a grant to start the Institute of Coaching, which she has grown into an internationally recognized resource for coaching of all types. As Co-Editor in Chief of the academic and professional peer- reviewed journal, “Coaching: An International Journal of Theory, Research and Practice”, Dr. Kauffman writes regular editorials on coaching.
