literature,

who get excited, passionate and emotional are persuasive and are usually good
speakers. There are students who have a knack for descriptive writing.”
Finding Your Writing Style
Tips for the Exam1.Know when to use different styles of writing.
2.Use neat handwriting (it counts!)
3.Reread to check your spelling, capitalization, and
grammar.
4.Vary your reading as you prepare. Read history books,
newspapers, classics, and anything else you can get your
hands on! Each type of text will introduce you to new
words and styles of writing.
EXTRA TIP!Focus on Bahamian culture!
“They may ask about Bahamian prom,
music, or sports.”
“They may ask ‘How has the writer mirrored
Bahamian culture in this extract?’ You may
say such things like, ‘The writer used
sarcasm’ and then you give the exact quote
from the passage where sarcasm was used.”
