Top Team and Runner-Up team award based on all 300 targets for all five shooters. NOTE: The Silent Partner option is available as separate events on both Saturday and Sunday and are based on each day’s combined singles, doubles, and handicap targets. Shooters pay $10 to participate in each day’s option. Two participants’ names are randomly drawn to form a partnership of two shooters. Total scores on all 150 targets by each partner are added to determine the winner of the Silent Partner pot. There are four prizes: 50 percent, 25 percent, 15 percent, and 10 percent. Special Event bidding is available as a separate event for Saturday and Sunday. Anyone can bid, with a minimum bid of $10. The highest bidder wins a stake in the pot based on the shooter’s performance. Shooter not bid on will pay $10 as purchaser. The $10 paid by the shooters and the total amount bid for all shooters will be the Special Event. Payout is four places: 50%/25%/15%/ 10%. Equipment Equipment may be provided on request and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Please indicate on your entry form whether a shotgun and/or pouch will be needed. Ammunition Policy All ammunition utilized must be factory ammunition. Ammunition will be provided for competition. Reloaded ammunition may not be utilized for competition due to liability. Anyone found utilizing reloaded ammunition will be disqualified from competition and refunds will not apply. Please see Paralyzed Veterans’ shooting sports rules for more information at www.pva.org/shootingsports. *Two additional boxes of ammunition will be provided for Friday practice to shooters paying for all three hundred targets for both days and are there for practice on Friday. Emergency Procedures In the event of emergency, the tournament director will be notified immediately. The nearest medical treatment center is Jerry Peris Memorial hospital located at 11201 Benton Street in Loma Linda, CA 92161; 800-741-8387. Options Options are a form of speculation, and they are entirely optional. Cal- Diego PVA will receive 25 percent of all options except the two $2,500 jackpots. On all options, ties are divided using percentages. An IRS Form 1099 is required to be issued to anyone who receives $600 or more. This is a fund raising event for PVA Cal-Diego. Any additional funds raised will be used to support the Cal-Diego Shooting Sports Program as well as other Cal-Diego Chapter programs, including support for the inpatients in the Spinal Cord Injury Center at the La Jolla VA Medical Center. $5,000 Jackpot Option There will be two $2,500 options based on the 150 targets for each day’s shooting. Each shooter is eligible to compete for these jackpots by donating $20 for each. The winner will be chosen by a five-class Lewis System. The $5,000 Jackpot was provided by an anonymous donor.

PISTOL SHOOT INFORMATION Competition:

The Cal-Diego Paralyzed Veterans Centerfire Pistol Shoot will consist of 50 rounds of ammunition and is open to the first 25 registrants. Handguns will not be provided. Iron sights only for competition: no laser sights, scopes, red-dots, etc., will be authorized for competition. No caliber smaller than .32 will be authorized for competition, and absolutely no reloaded ammunition will be authorized. Anyone found to be utilizing reloaded ammunition will automatically be disqualified from competition. Use of two hands is authorized, as is the use of a safety strap for those that utilize a wheelchair. Arms must be free of any type of support; however, adaptive equipment for those

requiring it may be utilized. All adaptive equipment must be approved by the PVA Shooting Sports director & the Cal-Diego Shooting Sports Director. Spotting scopes are allowed for practice and competition.

Awards will be presented at Redlands Shooting Park on Sunday during the awards ceremony. 8:45 a.m. safety briefing is mandatory and competitors will not be allowed to compete without being present for it. RIFLE SHOOT INFORMATION Competition: The Cal-Diego Paralyzed Veterans Centerfire Rifle Shoot will consist of 20 rounds and is open to the first 25 participants. Iron sights only: no scopes, laser sights, red-dots, etc.,will be authorized for competition. Rifle utilized must conform to California state laws. Events will be in the standing and prone positions, respectively. Slings and shooting jackets are authorized for competition, as is the use of a spotting scope. Absolutely no reloaded ammunition will be authorized for competition, and anyone found using reloaded ammunition will be disqualified. No caliber smaller than .223/5.56 mm or larger than .45 cal will be authorized for competition. No rim fire ammunition will be authorized. Use of safety straps for those utilizing a wheelchair is authorized, as is the use of a shooting table.

Competitors may use a shooting mat in the prone position. Adaptive equipment must be authorized by the PVA Shooting Sports Director and the Cal-Diego PVA Shooting Sports Director.
