Configuring and using the Sendgrid connector

OverviewThe Sendgrid connector for Bizagi is available for download at Bizagi Connectors Xchange.

Through this connector, you will be able to connect your Bizagi processes to the Sengrid e-mail

services.

Before you startIn order to test and use this connector, you will need:

1. Bizagi Studio previously installed.

2. This connector previously installed, via the Connectors Xchange as described at http://

help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?Connectors_Xchange.htm, or through a manual installation

as described at http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?Connectors_install.htm.

3. An account at www.mailchimp.com and a registered app.

Configuring the connectorIn order to configure the connector (i.e its authentication parameters), follow the steps presented at the

Configuration chapter in http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?Connectors_install.htm.

For this configuration, consider the following authentication parameters:

· Authentication method: Custom.

· API Key: The generated API key in your Sendgrid account (as requested and managed at https://

app.sendgrid.com/settings/api_keys).

It is required that when you create the API Key for this integration purpose, you specify that it is

authorized to send e-mails at least (Mail Send = full access).

Using the connectorThis connector features an available method of Sendgrid services, which allows you to directly send

new e-mails through your account.

When using the connector, ensure you consider the following details for the available method.

Send e-mailEnter basic contact information to send it as "subscribed" into the list you specify.

To configure its inputs, consider:

· Email to: The recipient's e-mail address.

· From name: The name used for the sender of the e-mail.

· from Email: The sender's e-mail address.

· Subject: The subject of the sent e-mail.

· Html: The full body of the sent e-mail in an HTML format.
