1.INTRODUCTIONROAD:-

Aroadis a route, or way on land between

3.Types of pavements1. Flexible pavement:-

These are asphalt pavements (sometimes called bituminous

pavements), which may or may not incorporate underlying

layers of stabilized or unsterilized granular materials on a

prepared sub-grade. These types of pavements are called"flexible" since the total pavement structure bends (or

flexes) to accommodate traffic loads.

2. Rigid pavement :-These are Portland Cement concrete (PCC) pavements,

which may or may not incorporate underlying layers of

stabilized or un stabilized granular materials.
