BIT International College Paramedics Department (comprising the courses of Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology and Midwifery) is noted to be the excellent producer of competent health care professionals. The college once again garnered a 100% rating in Radiologic Technologist Licensure Examination. Mr. Gerome A. Banawa, R.R.T., 22 y.o. from Alicia, Bohol, the sole examinee in the said licensure examination conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission – Manila on 24 th and 25 th day of November 2013 respectively. Since its inception, the college has been consistent of a 100% rating in the said licensure examination. This year’s newly Registered Nurses are the first batch of the College of Nursing Department that garnered a 100% rating in the Nurse Licensure Examination, making the BIT International College as the leading College of Nursing in the province. BIT International College Paramedics Department (comprising the courses of Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology and Midwifery) is noted to be the excellent producer of competent health care professionals.

The college once again garnered a 100% rating in Radiologic Technologist Licensure Examination. Mr. Gerome A. Mr. John Michael M. Pitoy, B.S.N., R.N., 20 y.o. a resident of Zamora Street, Taloto District, Tagbilaran City, Ms. Geraldine M. Lucip, B.S.N., R.N., 24 y.o. of San Miguel, Bohol and Ms. Ma. Darlene H. Gingo, B.S.N., R.N., 26 y.o. from Balilihan, Bohol have successfully passed the said licensure examination on 7th and 8th day of December 2013 conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission Manila.

And lastly, Ms. Jennelyn Derecho, R.M., 25 y.o. of Inabanga, Bohol and Ms. Janice Idulsa, R.M., 24 y.o. from Lila, Bohol were the courageous examinees that have successfully passed the Midwife Licensure Examination conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission Manila on 16th and 17th day of November 2013 respectively.

A Prolific Academic Year in BIT International College Main Campus

To give the students a chance to get acquainted to one another, BIT International College Supreme Student Government had organized the annual Inducting Ceremony and Acquaintance Party with this years theme: Strengthening common grounds through camaraderie. The event was held at the BIT International College Main Quadrangle on the 19th day of July 2013.

The event was started at 6 p.m. with a savory dinner shared by the Supreme Student Government officers together with the school administrators.

At exactly 7 p.m., the program proper started. The invocation was leaded by Ms. Marde S. Gamayon, the newly elected treasurer of the BIT IC SSG. It was then followed by a welcome address delivered by Mr. Richard Presente, the newly elected Vice President of the BIT IC SSG. A set of presentation from the College of Technology and from the Paramedics Department were witnessed by the crowd.

The induction of SSG Officers was conducted by Atty. Salvador D. Diputado, Ph.D., LLM, SAO Director. After which, Ms. Mae Joyce Sendrijas, the former SSG President gave her turn-over speech to the new set of officers and students. Mr. Victor Tesorero II, the newly elected president of the supreme student government stated his acceptance speech. Another set of presentation from the college of Maritime Education and College of Business Administration followed.

The induction of department officers was conducted by Engr. Dionisio Neil A. Balite, Ph.D., School Director. A series of lively presentations from the College of Teacher Education, College of Criminal Justice and College of Arts and Sciences.

This years emcees were Ms. Rudie Mae Galinato and Mr. John Paul Renegen. The said event ended by a grand disco. Everybody got the chance to dance up to the beat with their friends, colleagues and co-students.
