School Board & Superintendent Goals (2015-2018) 1. Students: Ensure the academic achievement and success skills of every single BPS student.

Measured by: graduation rates, dropout rates, proficiency on end of the year standards-based grading reports, success skills as impacting scores of 3.5 to 4.0 on proficiency, MTSS benchmark data, MAP growth, ACT scores, Aspire data, attendance data, and AdvancEd goals.

2. Facilities: Work with the community to develop a fiscally responsible 3-year facilities plan that meets the district’s future needs in ensuring a safe and optimal learning environment for BPS students and staff. Measured by: the School Board’s response to a Community Facility Task Force’s recommendations in the spring of 2016.

Staff: Empower BPS staff through professional development and focused initiatives to master the standards-based learning, assessing, and reporting cycle to positively impact growth in student learning. Measured by: an analysis of student academic growth scores each June, a professional development plan developed by February 2016, and a standards-based survey of staff in December 2016.
