Bishopstrow Online – Student FeedbackContext

◼ Bishopstrow Online was developed in response to the coronavirus

pandemic, with all schools in the UK required to close in mid-March 2020

◼ Launched for Term 3 on March 30, Bishopstrow Online delivers a fully

interactive Bishopstrow education to students around the world

◼ Bishopstrow Online offers much more than a remote learning experience.

The Programme covers academic, cultural, social and boarding

preparation, as well as wellbeing and fitness. Face-to-face lessons are

delivered in live, interactive classrooms by Bishopstrow’s professionally

qualified teachers. Students are able to interact with their teacher in the

video classroom or message their teacher with particular questions,

comments or contributions

◼ The College continuously relies on student feedback to evaluate all

aspects of its provision. Given that online learning is a new experience for

almost all staff and students at the College, we are delighted to share

feedback from the current cohort of students enrolled

◼ With an 80% response rate, this feedback provides some key insights in

relation to the student experience, which we hope will be helpful for agents

and families considering an online programme for the summer

◼ Lessons are clear and smart and useful

◼ I have enjoyed my lessons very much

example, the skill of life. We will play some games

in class and get to know more things about our life

in English. We will learn some phrases that we can

use to communicate with our friends

◼ I don’t think it is a good way to study, but we have

to use online lessons to study in this special time

really helps. Otherwise I would be stuck at home

However, sometimes I will forgot to send my

homework to my teacher (that is not good)!

Parent and agent feedback has also been positive

Our daughter is very delighted to

continue her lessons online. She has

done the prep asked and enjoys

meeting her teachers online. At the

beginning I worried that she may not be

able to concentrate for so long during

the online lessons, but it seems that this

is not an issue. It is really helpful under

the circumstances to ‘meet’ her

classmates and teachers. Thank you,

and congratulations on your success!.

brilliantly, and so quickly –

Our children take up so much of our attention throughout the

day so having Bishopstrow Online, and setting this up so
