The biggest tragedy of Indian people now a days is that the people are unable to decide what the

cow is all about. The beef-ban controversy has forced me to write "cow meaning" words in the

google-search-text-box. What a hardcore tragedy!

The definition of cow both as a formal and informal noun is pretty interesting to ponder about. The

informal noun is a patriarchal slang used to devalue female gender. However, I am not right now

interested in pondering over such slang. But, the formal noun meaning of cow on which I would like

to write something on. It is defined as a fully grown female animal of a domesticated breed of ox,

kept to produce milk or beef ! In ancient India, cow was a member of every household. And, was

given due respect similar to every other member of the family. Hence, people of ancient India could

not able to think to kill and sell its beef in a case when cow was unable to produce milk. Cow was

also considered as a matter of prestige for the owner since more the number of cow a family

possessed, more reputed and more wealthy the family was perceived.

However, such is not a case in current times where neither every family is involved in domesticationbusinessof cow nor the cow isa family member of all the family. Moreover, In the ancient times, In

majority or say in all of the cases, cow was used as a mean to produce milk alone. But, the scenario

in the present times is quite different than the ancient times!

gain vote bank and power... Many of us fools follow such politicians who work for power, not for country...
