The BT RaCe Sequence: Three Sterile Single-Use Instruments1.Aftercoronalaccessisattained,theworkinglength(WL)shouldbeobtainedwithsmallhandfiles (ISO 06, 08, 10 or 15) depending on theconstriction of each canal.

2. A glide path should be accomplished with small stainlesssteelorNiTifilestoISO15beforeusingBTRaCesequence.

3.EachfileoftheentiresequenceshouldbeusedtofullWLbeforemovingtothenextfileinthesequence.Perfile,totalworkingtimeinonecanalshouldnotexceed10seconds.Allfilesshouldbeusedat600-800RPMswith1.5Ncmoftorque.

4.Use the BT1 with a long and gentle peckingmotion(3-4backandforthstrokes).IfBT1doesnotreachWL,cleantheinstrument,irrigateandrepeatuntiltheWLisachieved.

5.RecapitulatewithK-FileISO15tokeeptheglidepath open; irrigate.

6.UseBT2uptoWLinthesamemannerasBT1.7.RecapitulatewithK-FileISO15;irrigate.8.UseBT3uptoWLinthesamewayasBT1.9.ObturatewithBCSealerandmatchingBCPoints.
