“Space is big. You just won’t believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it’s a long way down the road to the chemist’s, but that’s just peanuts to space.” Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy

We may not have yet unraveled the mysteries of the universe, but we can start by unraveling the mysteries of the Montreal Bio-Innovation ecosystem!

Product Development for Biomed & Biotech

Prototyping and testing are the best way to create successful products, but many biomed and biotech entrepreneurs and researchers skip this important step and use gut instinct instead. Why invest time, resources and effort in building something nobody wants? Save months, even years, in your entrepreneurial or research journey!

Indeed, prototyping is a great way to communicate the intent of a product both clearly and effectively. Prototypes help you to flesh out ideas, test assumptions, and gather real-time feedback from stakeholders, so that you build an irresistible product for your customers.

In this workshop, we’ll show you how prototyping is more than just a design tool by demonstrating how they can help you bring your research to market, gain internal buy-in, and test feasibility.

By explaining the goals and methodologies behind prototyping—and demonstrating how to prototype for the biomed and biotech sectors—this practical workshop helps you become more comfortable with creating and testing prototypes early and often in the process.
