Agriculture•It is expected that the international market for organic food and beverages will grow from USD 62.9 billion (2011 ) to USD 105 billion (2015 )•Tea production in accordance with the standards of sustainability has grown by 2000% between the years 2005-2009
Fisheries and
aquaculture
•Certified capture fishery or full evaluation register annual catches of 18 million metric tons of seafood (17% of the Yearly catches fishing internationally)•It is projected that the total value of seafood raised according to certified sustainability standards will increase from USD 300 million ( 2008) to USD 1.25 billion in 2015.
Forestry•400 million hectares is the total area of certified forests by 2013 (10 % of forest resources globally) .•20 billion in annual sales of certified wood products
Industry•Increase of 1500% in ISO 14001 on environmental management systems between 1999 and 2009 , providers are concerned about implementing good environmental practices to secure a place in international supply chains .
Renewable Energy
•42 % is the average annual growth in the biofuel supply capacity since 1990•25 % is the average annual growth in supply capacity of wind energy since 1990•15 % is the average annual growth in supply capacity of photovoltaic solar energy since 1990•In 2010, investments in renewable energy supply was $ 211 billion ( fivefold increase since 2004) , more than half of these investments were made in developing countries .•Developing countries increased their exports of renewable energy equipment and the potential for export of electricity from renewable sources
Turism
•In 2012 international tourism reached the first billion tourists•In developing countries, the market share of the industry step of 30% (1980) to 47% (2011). It is expected to reach 57% in 2030.•The fastest growing subsector in sustainable tourism is ecotourism, especially in developing countries that have acomparative advantage (natural environment, cultural heritage, adventure tourism) countries.
