In carrying out this project, various salient activities were outlined for a complete elimination of the Oil contaminants from the receiving soil.
These include:
1.1.Personnel & equipment mobilizationPersonnel & equipment mobilization
2.2.Baseline status study (pre study)Baseline status study (pre study)
3.3.Selection & provision of appropriate nutrientSelection & provision of appropriate nutrient
4.4.Provision & planting of habitat plantsProvision & planting of habitat plants
5.5.Baseline confirmation study (post study)Baseline confirmation study (post study)
Four major activities were coined out from the five mentioned points above

BIOREMEDIATION TECHNOLOGIES BIOREMEDIATION TECHNOLOGIES
Bioremediation can be defined as a process of utilizing biological agents, (such as micro-organisms and plants) to get rid of pollutants or contaminants.
Bioremediation can be broadly subdivided into five approaches:
Bioreactors Bioreactors
Solid phase technologiesSolid phase technologies
CompostingComposting
Land farming Land farming
In-situ bioremediation
Ex-situ TreatmentEx-situ Treatment

Summary …it is generally observed that the bioremediation
exercise is alleviating the extent of pollution at the impacted location.
A further check on the stability trend in the parameters, shows that the location will at the endof about 42 days gain its original status. This isin-line with the ‘Bioremediation Efficiency Check’, (BEC) done on the generated data.
