Research and development of core values and behavioural competencies for over 200 managers and supervisors at Dubal (Dubai Aluminium). This involved a thorough exploration of the technical processes, work practices and performance objectives of each senior role. The aim was to create a practical values based competency framework, as the basis for future recruitment, succession planning, staff development and performance management. Research and development of core values for the Performance Management System for Saudi Formaldehyde Chemical Co. Ltd, a chemical plant and United Gulf Steel, a rolling mill in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This involved the development of a values based behavioural competency framework and performance review system, associated training programmes and staff development plans. Coached senior management in the implementation process.

Led the change management programme to restructure Kinnarps of Sweden in Dubai. Designed the systems and procedures based on the company’s new core values for recruitment, development and retention of staff. Created a sales team of 12 members in Dubai, Oman and Saudi Arabia producing 3.9 million dirhams (US$1.1 million) GP per quarter. Also responsible for the creation of Kinnarps Konstruction building works company and Kinnarps Konsulting Group. Today the Kinnarps Group generates 110 million Dirhams (US$7.5 million) GP per quarter with a sales team of 25 members. Developed and facilitated numerous Transformational learning programmes for multiple clients in Australia, provided executive mentoring and coaching to CEO’s, business owners and facilitators of these programmes. Presented as key note speaker at the “ Authentic Leadership Symposium” in Melbourne, Australia in October 2009. Developed the workplace reform and culture change programme for Colonial Insurance in Australia. Designed and led an intensive series of programmes to assist individuals to adapt, refocus and align to the new culture and values. resulting increase in both productivity and morale was so dramatic that the company was awarded a half-million-dollar “Australian Best Practices Demonstration" grant by the Federal Government. Co-designed and developed the ’Frontline Managers’ programme for the 85,000 employee’s of Telstra telecommunications operation in Australia. This programme was designed to change the manager’s behaviours from a functional outlook to a strong team with customer focussed and team values. Designed the values based cultural change programme to restructure ACL Tri-Star recruiting in Australia. In conjunction with an international recruitment specialist, developed the new systems and procedures for the organisation. This led to the rapid growth and resulting sale to the International HR and recruiting firm Robert Walters PLC. Designed and led the nation-wide implementation of the Apple Centre concept and ‘Building the Difference’ programme, a values based customer service training programme for Apple Computers in Australia. Reformed the Australian rock legend, ‘Skyhooks’ to perform a 100 date tour of Australia.
