Brief Biodata
Dr. Sanjay Soni received his Bachelor of Engineering in electronics engineering from
Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College, Gorakhpur in 1997, the M.Tech degree in
communication engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2004, and PhD in wireless
Communication Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 2011. From 1998 to 2007 he was
Assistant Professor in the department of Electronics and Communication engineering, G.
B. Pant Engineering college, Pauri. From 2007 he joined IIT kharagpur to pursue his
PhD. In 2010–2012, he joined back G.B.Pant Engg college, Pauri at the post of Associate
Professor. In 2012, he joined Delhi Technological University as an Associate professor
and guided PhD scholar in the area of UWB. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in
Electronics and Communication in G.B.Pant Engineering College, Pauri and is involved
in teaching and research in the area of wireless communication. He has published more
than 40 papers including both journals and conferences in the area of wireless
communication and is guiding a number of PhD students in this area. His research
interest includes propagation modelling and characterization of wireless channel, time-
domain analysis of propagation channel.
