How CAP/CWP works
• Living organisms obtain energy by oxidation reactions.
• Humans and animals consume food therefore capturing the energy from the food source and reducing it to carbon dioxide, water and solids.
Biological Oxidation
•Biological Oxidation is a natural reaction where micro-organisms capture the energy in an organic substance (food source) and use it for the oxidation process.
•This allows biological oxidation to take place without a large increase in temperature or energy usage. The results of this are CO2, water and inert bio-solids.
•As contaminants come in contact with micro-organisms, they are biologically oxidized to CO2 and water. Heavy metals and solids are consolidated and rendered harmless.

Bio-hygienics
•Contaminants and odors that are persistent travel on particulates.
•Most large particles will travel with air flow and can be vented.
•Small particles, the ones which are most harmful, are resistant to normal air flow and cannot be vented.
•These particulates are electrically charged. •Their motion is controlled by electrical fields not by air flow.
•For these reasons, many odors linger even when an area is exhausted.
(bi'o-hi jen'ikx); The application of compact treatment plants utilizing bio-oxidation for indoor and outdoor applications
Page 6 of 20
• CAP© neutralize contaminants in the air and creates an electrically neutral “clean zone.”
• Contaminants, both positively and negatively charged, are attracted to this neutral clean zone, where they are captured in the unit and biologically oxidized.
• CWP© work the same way, creating a clean water zone. Contaminants move to the clean zone, are drawn into the unit, where they are biologically oxidized.
Bio-hygienics (continued)

Substantial cost savings• Superior technology to
– Carbon - substantially more economical– Thermal destruction
• First bio-oxidizer designed for indoor applications • Miniaturized plants save energy and space• Single technology, single solution • Very low maintenance • Can be installed modularly to meet growing demands • Bio-hygienics offers the benefits of immobilized cell
technology in a compact treatment plant that is fast, effective and economical.
• Advances in bio-hygienics address air and water quality, nuisance odor issues and industrial waste management in a complete, economical solution for companies large and small.
• CAPs and CWPs are the only bio-systems that address air and water contaminants bio-hygienically.

Machine Operation
• The CAP™ Machine is can be modified to fit both stationary and portable applications.
• The size of the machine is based on both area covered and amount of pollution present
• Portable applications: It is recommended the machine be in operation in the area prior to activity related to targeted pollution
Page 9 of 20
• BioOX© is the Bio-Enzyme microbial media used to consume pollution.
• Start up recommendations and amount used during normal operation are based on machine and application. (Chart to come later in presentation).
• The more pollution ,the more BioOx needed. • Many applications will need less BioOx the longer the machine has been operating as it will clean the air and built up pollution in walls, ceiling tiles and ventilation systems.

CAP™/CWP™
•Dual outlet power supply to run pump and fan.
•Water must be added as needed(daily in most cases). Automatic water feed can be installed on larger machines.
•Heaters can be added for exterior applications to prevent water freeze.
•BioOx added monthly or more frequently as needed.
