Wheeled bin collections begin at 7am. Bins should be presented at

the kerbside or edge of the road with lids closed and handles out.

A back door collection can be arranged for households unable to puttheir bin out for collection due to illness, incapacity, mobility issues etc.

Normally only one 240L landfill bin will be collected per household.

Additional disposal capacity will be provided by the Council for

households with six or more permanent residents or households with a

medical condition that causes extra waste to be generated.

No additional bags will be collected. All waste must be placed

inside the bin with the lid properly closed.

It is every householders responsibility to ensure they have a landfill bin.

For information on obtaining green or brown bins or caddies, please

contact the Waste Management team on 028 9250 9453.

Lisburn City Council also runs an amenity collection for householders

wishing to dispose of larger items such as furniture and white goods.

    For more information contact 028 9267 3417.
