• Online collaboration for research and projects is readily available.
• Enables members to establish and control positive Internet presence.
• Members can seek jobs through membership.
• Members can learn about professional development opportunities (Doherty, n. d.).
NetworksI use LinkedIn and Twitter.LinkedIn is a more formal, traditional type of professional network.Twitter is micro-blogging, yet with the selection of educational professionals and organizations a wealth of information and networking occurs.
