General Information the University is submitted to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of
Ukraine;
the University consists of 8 faculties, which provide the education on 12 specialisations;
the education is provided by 273 teachers, 12 of them are academicians, 42 doctors of sciences and 172 candidates of sciences;
total number of students – 7800, with colleges – 10000. Direct study – 5420, extramural education – 3500;
Institute of post diploma training for the specialists of veterinary medicine is a part of the University.
