• Tanker 8065 is a 1991 tanker operated by the Remlap Fire and EMS District located in central Alabama.
• The rig was built locally using an InternaLonal chassis; it is also powered by a diesel motor.
• Tanker 8065 carries 1,500 gallons of water and has no pump.
• It is equipped with a 10-‐inch rear dump; two, 1,500-‐gallon dump tanks; and a 4-‐inch direct fill line.
• The Remlap Fire and EMS District, along with several other fire departments protect the small town and rural areas of Blount County, Alabama.

Tanker 8065 is one of two, similar tankers operated by the Remlap Fire and EMS District. The two tankers make a nice “water hauling duo.”

The tanker’s design is very simple making it easy to operate in a water hauling operaLon. Its short wheel base is ideal for the windy narrow roads in the Remlap response district.

Carrying two dump tanks is a unique feature not oXen seen on a tradiLonal tanker. The two tanks certainly make the rig more versaLle in terms of helping out at dump sites AND fill sites.

The 4-‐inch direct fill means this tanker can load fast and get back on the road hauling water.
