Please note that a child with a fever of 100 degrees or higher will not be admitted to or permitted to stay in school. The child may return to school after staying fever-free without medication for 24 hours. This same policy applies to vomiting; a student should not return to school until he/she has been symptom-free for 24 hours.

If our area receives warnings for inclement weather, we will announce closings and/or delays through the RBS Facebook page, email, and WBAL TV (local channel 11). Our goal is to make a decision by 5:45 a.m. in order to give parents enough time to plan accordingly.

PLEASE NOTE: The decision will not be based solely on Baltimore County.

DELAYS AND CANCELLATIONS: If a delay is in effect, the delay will last two hours. School will begin at 10:00 a.m. for grades K3-1 and 10:10 a.m. for grades 2-12. Students will report directly to their classrooms and may arrive no earlier than 9:45 a.m.

PLEASE NOTE: Morning Care will NOT be provided if the school is on a delay. If we are required to close early, After Care will NOT be provided.

Inclement Weather Policy

Wellness Policy

Aftercare students may be found on the playground on a moderate temperature day. However, if the playground is not being used, grades K3-1 will be located in room NR- 107 until 5:30 p.m. then move to ED-214. Grades 2-12 will be located in room ED-214.
