The Big Project Awards 2012 is taking place on the 4th

of December in Dubai at the Armani Hotel, burj Khalifa.

the black tie ceremony recognises the companies

and individuals that have contributed to both the

construction and sustainability industries across the

middle east.

All GCC companies are invited to nominate their top

employees, initiatives and projects in any of the 15

categories.

in 2011, our guests included some of the biggest names

in the region, and we were honoured to welcome

Sheikh abdul aziz bin ali al nuaimi, from the ruling

family of the emirate of ajman, infamously known as

the “Green Sheikh”, as our Guest of Honour. Sheikh al

nuaimi was joined by more than 400 of the industry’s

biggest players including Dubai road and transport

authority (rta), du, aDPC, Dubai Chamber of Commerce

and industry, DamaC, arabtec, Famco and municipality

Each category is designated an expert judge on the

panel, with in-depth theoretical knowledge as well as

field experience in Construction and Sustainability.

The shortlisted nominations are then put through a

rigorous final selection process by the panel of expert

independent judges.
