It’s the season of giving and gratitude, which got me to thinking about my friend, Taka Yamakawa from Tokyo, Japan. Whenever he visits, he brings my wife, Irma and me a gift from his hometown. As you may know, the Japanese concept of omiyage (gift-giving) has always been at the heart of what we do at Big Island Candies, which makes his gesture even more special, knowing the thought and care that go into it. Prices shown throughout the catalog are good online, by mail order and in Hilo; prices may vary by location. Please note that prices may also increase without notice.

CREDIT CARD VERIFICATION NUMBER When paying with a credit card please provide us with the verifi cation number that appears on your card. For Discover, Visa and Mastercard, it is the last three digits that appear on the signature panel on the backside of the card. For American Express, it is a four-digit number that appears right above your account number on the face of the card.

DELIVERYAll orders are delivered Monday-Friday to most areas. Current and correct address and phone number are required (unable to ship to P.O. Boxes). Big Island Candies will not be responsible for shipments

to incorrect addresses or re-routing fees. Your order will be sent promptly based on when it was received and the next available ship date, generally within three (3) days. During the holiday season we reserve the right to select the next available ship date. Saturday deliveries are subject to a $16 surcharge and are available only to the Continental U.S. Priority overnight service is available to some areas of the Continental U.S. Please call for a rate quote. For deliveries to Alaska, Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Japan and Canada, please call for a rate quote. Orders to Japan with a net weight under 10 kg (22 lbs. or 352 oz.) and shipping to a residence will be sent via Yamato Transport; all other orders to Japan via UPS.
