STEEL BOOTIn Week 13 of the 2018 season, kicker Aldrick Rosas set a new franchise record for the longest made field goal when he converted a 57-yard field goal as time expired heading into halftime. The previous record was held by Ali Haji-Sheikh, who kicked two 56-yard field goals during the 1983 season.

Aldrick Rosas’ franchise record 57-yard field goal in Week 13 vs. Chicago put him third in Giants history with seven total field goals from 50 yards or more. He needs three more 50+ yard kicks to pass Joe Danelo for the most in team history.

Golden Tate III on the WR corps. .....“Just based off of camp and what I’m seeing from guys, and getting guys back, I’ve really been impressed by the young guys. I think TJ Jones is going to be a great guy to come in and do work for us. He’s a very smart guy, an elusive guy, (and) has the ability to play all positions at the wide receiver group. I have no doubt that he is going to step in. We have Sterling (Shepard), we have Cody (Latimer), and we have Bennie (Fowler), who’s doing great. We have a bunch of really good guys. “

- WR Golden Tate III

On being the number one receiver in the offense....“The back five games of last season I was in the same situation. I felt like I handled it pretty well, so I imagine it being the same way. I’m going to go out and be myself and let everything take of itself. We have ballers in the room, and when Golden is back it’s going to be a huge help as well. You see Bennie Fowler and Cody Latimer, they make big plays. I have guys that are helping me out, I’m not the only one out there.”

- WR Sterling Shepard

Will Hernandez on the new look offensive line....“Well, I have a whole year under my belt, everybody got another year better. Wherever they were, everybody got more experience, more time to see film, more time to do a lot of things and just get better as an individual. When we all come together as five, you can really see the difference. One example was me and Nate, we started off a little slow and then we picked it up the rest of the season, and then we picked up right where we left off once we came back for OTA’s. We have just been building and building off of that. We also have Remmers and Zeitler on the other side, and the center position is just crazy. Both of these guys just come out everyday and work. Coaches are going to have a really hard decision to make. At the end of the day, we have five guys that got better from last year and we are just building off of it.” -OL Will Hernandez

Dalvin Tomlinson on going up against the new offensive line in practice....“It’s good, They’re coming together pretty well, the unity they show on the offensive line is tremendous right now, and I feel like they’re getting better and better every day”

- DL Dalvin Tomlinson

On Daniel Jones play in the preseason....“In each outing, you want him to go out and execute well. The beauty of the preseason games is that each defense presents different problems. When we go to play the Bengals here, we’re going to see things from the Bengals that we didn’t see from the Bears. As you move forward, it’s just another step in the process. We want him to execute well. We don’t want him to fumble snaps or fumble the ball in the pocket. We want him to keep executing well, throwing the ball, and getting us in the right place.”

- Head Coach Pat Shurmur

Eli Manning on what a succesful season would be....It’s making the playoffs to start with, and then making a run in the playoffs. Obviously, the goal is to always win a championship, and you can’t do that without making the playoffs. I think the goal is to win the division and go from there”

-QB Eli Manning
