13. IN AREAS WHERE SOFT/LOOSE ZONES OR POSSIBLE VOIDS EXIST AT DEPTH, NOTIFY THESTRUCTURAL ENGINEER IMMEDIATELY. SUCH AREAS SHOULD BE UNDERCUT ANDREPLACED WITH COMPACTED LOAD-BEARING FILL, OR FLOWABLE CONCRETE FILL ASDIRECTED BY THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL.
