The next generation of ICT learners will enjoy
advantages of a broad global portfolio of training
and knowledge transfer.
Objectives:• Increase the availability in different modalities of training globally.• Increase training on emerging topics.• Increase the variety of training.
Strategies:• Identify the different modalities to maximize global training (i.e.
Learning Management System (LMS), webinars, Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT), Instructor Led Training (ILT), etc.). - H
• Develop training on emerging topics (Future Education Needs and Trends (FENT) survey). – M/H
• Develop a variety of training from current body of knowledge (modularization project). – M
• Develop outreach programs to target shoulder industries by expanding limited current outreach program. – M

• BICSI Installation Program was granted a provisional license by the Commission of Independent Education.
• It indicates that BICSI meets standards for licensure.

• BICSI courses have been independently evaluated for Continuing Professional Development purposes by The CPD Certification Service.
• BICSI courses comply with universally accepted principles of Continual Professional Development (CPD) and have been structured to meet the criteria of personal development plans.
• CPD certified training means the learning activity has reached the required CPD standards and benchmarks.

• BICSI has been recognized by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) as an AIA Continuing Education System (CES) Approved provider.
• BICSI’s Design* courses will satisfy AIA credential holders' general learning unit hours requirements, as well as the coveted Health, Safety and Welfare (HSW) learning unit hour requirements!
• AIA members will have a deeper understanding of why inclusion of an RCDD on-staff is critical in order to accurately assess a building owner’s telecommunications needs, and to design and implement a plan that allows for imminent growth, with minimal costs for later upgrades.

Treasurer’s Report – Peter Lochner
Financial performance for the FY2018 period in relation to Profit / Loss was broadly in line with Budget expectations and very similar to the FY2017 period.
The account books showed a small profit of $17,091.21 before various accounting adjustments (Allocating Conference Income and Pre-Payments into their respective FY’s, accrual for Staff Annual and Long Service Leave, Asset Depreciation and accrual for professional fees for FY2019) reverted this into a small loss of -$8,783.67.

• Pathway to RCDD Program• Starting the journey to the RCDD credential can be a daunting
prospect• BICSI SP has launched a “pathway” program to assist those
undertaking the journey• Using the RCDD community and our local ADTP, JB Hunter, the
program will assist participants along the journey to the RCDD exam with a combination of study groups, face to face training and RCDD mentoring
• Over a 6 month period, participants will be provided with valuable assistance to achieve the credential
