Sue Khim, CEO and founder of bril-

liant.org,will give a public lecture about thenarrative and mission of her organization

Brilliant.org takes an innovative approach to addressing

the issue of upward mobility through access to education,

using the platform of social networking to enable students

to engage in challenging problems in the mathematical sci-

ences. Khim's organization identifies talented students in

remote locations and provides these students connections

to mentors and educational opportunities not otherwise

available to them. Her empowering message is for anyone

who has fresh ideas for enacting global social change.
