Bicicleta 180 is a bicycle park located in Barcelona, Spain.

Like most industrial design projects, it was created with the purpose of being functional and visually appealing.

The idea for the bike storage areas for the park came from an orange peel.

These particular structures were designed to save space and fit many bicycles in one place, so the bicycle is stored in an upright, vertical position.

Riders can conveniently roll their bikes up the structure, and set it in place.

The finished product is a spiral structure with a thick metallic skin.

This industrial design also won an award for its innovation and appearance.
