It is through God's word that we become clean: (Ps 119:9) “Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By

taking heed thereto according to thy word.” (John 15:3) “Now ye are clean through the word which I have

spoken unto you.” (Rom 1:16-17) “16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:

for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God reveled from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” – (Heb 11)

(1 Pet 1:22) “Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently.”
