Description ACTIFLOW®, is a new sampling device with a
magnetically activated piston to take a sample of a liquid content from a reactor or storage tank.
This device is specially designed for sampling under difficult conditions like extreme vacuum 10-7 [mmHg]. Also this system guarantees the safety of the operating staff.
Technical caracteristics
• Nominal pressure - 1 à 16 [bar] • Nominal temperature - 20 à 200 [°C] • Standard outlet diameter 10 [mm] • Raised volume / lift 100 [ml] • Volume delivery 400 [ml/min] • Viscosity 2000 [mPa/sec]
Advantages
• The liquid is never sucked but pushed up. • No aspiration problems. • Avoids the use of a vacuum pump. • Guaranteed sampling even under extreme
vacuum conditions 10-7 [mmHg]. • Magnetic drive in a two chamber system which
avoids the physical contact as well as dynamic seals.
• Small piston lift. • Compact design. • Simple operation. • Self-cleansing. • Closed sampling system. • Excellent draining.
What's new ?
Its principle of function is to push the liquid by a piston and chamber to the outside of the reactor. As a result of gravity, the liquid flows via a loop back into the reactor. In accordance with the requirements a sampler and / or an analytical apparatus for the measurement of certain values for example, pH, viscosity, Redox, Conductivity, etc. can be installed in this circuit.
Materials
• Standard stainless steel 1.4435 or 316 L. • All parts in contact with the product are
supplied in accordance with the customers choice.
• PTFE; (Tantalum); Titanium; Hastelloy®; etc.

Principle of function
a) Filling the cylinder (1)
b) Setting in motion the pneu-magnetic cylinder (2), connected to the piston (4) by a rigid wire (3)
c) Piston (4) moving in the cylinder (1)
d) Liquid rising in the pipe (5)
e) Liquid flowing into the sampling valve (6)
f) Taking the sample into the bottle(7)
g) Surplus liquid flowing back into the vessel (8)
h) Resumption of the cycle
