BI4 Lumira Integration

Step 1. Publish a Story to BI4 Once you have a story ready, use to Publish to SAPO BI button to begin the

upload to BI4

The publishing happens through the restful web services. The default path is

http://10.193.4.192:6405/biprws

Once logged on, navigate to the folder where you want to publish your story to.

You will be prompted to either create a new item or overwrite if items already

exist. If you have not yet published and you are getting prompted to overwrite,

it may mean you have a naming conflict. Rename your dataset to not overwrite

the work of others.

You should see the following screen once everything has been published:

Step 2: Viewing Published Content Logon to BI Launchpad, and navigate to the folder where you published the

2. Open and view the story

Step 3: Embedding objects Lumira stories can be embedded via the OpenDocument link.

Navigate to the story, right click and select the Document Link option.

Copy & Paste the link into another browser tab/window. See the story show up

without the BI Launchpad around it.

Step 4: Dataset Management Logon to the Central Management Console (CMC) and click on the Lumira

Datasets. http://10.193.4.192:8080/BOE/CMC/

Find your dataset, right click and select User Security

Select the everyone group and click on Assign Security

Uncheck the Inherit From Parent Folder checkbox, and click OK, then OK

again to continue on the warning message.

Notice now only administrators have rights to your dataset
