I.AS Java: Set Up RFC Destination for BW SystemUseIn this activity, you set up the RFC destination from the AS Java to the BW system in the SAP NetWeaver Administrator.RequirementsYou have configured the BI Java Connector.Activities1. In SAP NetWeaver Administrator, choose Configuration Management -> Infrastructure Management -> JCo RFC Destinations.2. Choose Create and enter the following data:Gateway hostGateway serviceNumber of processesApplication server hostSystem numberClientLanguageUsernamePassword3. Choose Finish.The RFC destination is added to the list.II. Configure Relational BI Java ConnectorsIII. Establish the RFC Destination to the AS JavaUseIn this activity, you set up the RFC destination from the BW system to the Application Server Java.RequirementsIn the Application Server Java, you have set up an RFC destination for the BW system.Activities1. In SM59, Choose Edit -> Create.2. Enter a name and a description for the destination.3. As connection type, choose T (Start of an External Program using TCP/IP).4. On the Technical Settings tab page, select Registered Server Program as the activation type and specify the registered server program under Program ID.The program ID entered here must match the program ID that you entered when you maintained the RFC destination in the Application Server Java.5. Under Gateway Options, specify the Gateway Host and the Gateway Service.6. Save and test the connection.
