Bheema Training and Placement Cell (BTPC) Bheema Group of Institutions (BGI) is committed not only to impart quality education but also producing professionals and responsible citizens for the development of the economy and Nation building. Under the aegis of BGI established Bheema Training and Placement Cell (BTPC) in the year 2010 to realize the above objectives. BTPC is playing a vital role in career guidance, career planning, career path identification, training, development, internships and placements for the holistic development of the students. Computer Science Engineering

The department of CSE was started in the year 2008 with an intake of 60 students. The department has established two laboratories namely Core Computer Lab, DBMS Lab which are fully equipped with Pentium Dual Core Computer Systems, Uninterrupted Power Supply, and fully air conditioned. The labs were specially designed for B.Tech course work and Project work. The fully air-conditioned computer centre has plinth area of 280 Sqm. in the main building. More than 180 Pentium based computers with the latest Configuration were installed. The department has dedicated and experienced faculty.

The faculty is well motivated and takes personal care of the students and council them at regular intervals and informs the parents / guardians about the progress of their ward regularly. Academic monitoring committee chaired by one of the senior faculty member meets once in a fortnight to review the academic progress of each section and see to that the class work progresses smoothly as per the academic calendar. Extra tutorial classes are conducted to take more personal care of the students. This helps the student in preparing for the semester end examinations and also aids in facing the competitive exams and interviews confidently.

In order to strengthen the teaching-learning ambience, and prepare the undergraduates to meet the challenges of the global work environment, our department has taken up several initiatives like offering value-added courses and interfacing with the industry to bridge the gap between the curriculum and the requirements of the industry. Electronics & Communications Engineering The Department of ECE was established in 2008 with an intake of 60 students in the UG programme and it has been increased to within intake of 120 students in the year 2010. The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty. The department has good infrastructural facilitates and is equipped with full-fledged laboratories. The department also has audio-visual facilities with one LCD and four OHP's for effective teaching. The staff members are deputed to participate in workshops, conferences, symposia and refresher courses to keep in pace with recent developments in the field of Electronics & Communications Engineering.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering experiences a tremendous growth since its inception. We produce quality engineers with acumen to meet the growing demand for technical manpower in the industrial arena. The Department is equipped with excellent infrastructure and state of the art equipment to explore the technological challenges in the areas of Electronics, Communication Networks, VLSI design, Digital Signal Processing. The B.Tech program in Electronics and Communication Engineering involves subjects those mainly teach students about design, analysis & application of electronics & communication circuits. Through our program we impart knowledge and skill based education in collaboration with industry academic and research organization and to prepare competent engineers with a spirit of Entrepreneurship. Our program aims to prepare students to excel in the graduate program; succeed in industry /Technical Profession and also enable to pursue higher studies and continue life- long learning. To prepare students with strong engineering knowledge and technical competence to use techniques, skills and modern engineering tools that allow them to work effectively as Electronics and Communications Engineers.

As a part of the curriculum, Industrial visits are arranged for students of B.E 3/4 (ECE) in I-Semester. Students of our department actively participate in National-level Student Paper Contests being organized various other Engineering Colleges. Some of them have also been awarded in these paper contests. The department supports its students to get on Hand practical applications of the subjects. It has 11 Modern and well equipped Laboratories as per industry standards for its technical orientation. Bheema Innovative zone focuses,

research on intelligence and behavior, especially focusing on how information is represented, processed and transformed within human nerve

systems and machines.

Civil Engineering Civil Engineering degree plays a vital role in fulfilling the societal infra-structural needs and demand. With India being a developing country and one of the fastest growing economy has created wide scope for civil engineers.

Civil Engineering is considered as one of the oldest engineering disciplines. It involves planning, designing and executing structural works. The profession deals with a wide variety of engineering tasks including designing, supervision and construction activities of public works like roads, bridges, tunnels, buildings, airports, dams, water works, sewage systems, ports etc. and offers a multitude of challenging. A civil engineer is responsible for planning and designing a project, constructing the project to the required scale, and maintenance of the product. A civil engineer requires not only a high standard of engineering knowledge but also supervisory and administrative skills. The planning part of their work involves site investigation, feasibility studies, creating solutions to complications that may occur and the actual designing of structures. They have to work with the guidelines of the local government authority and get plans approved by the relevant authority. They may prepare cost estimates and set construction schedules. Construction work involves dealing with clients, architects, government officials, contactors and the supervision of work according to standards. Their work also involves the maintenance and repair of the project. The major specializations within civil engineering are structural, geo-technical engineering, hydraulics & water resources, environmental, construction, transportation, etc. On most projects, civil engineers work in teams or in coordination with many other engineers.

Mechanical Engineering The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 2014. The course offers a deep insight into the discipline and enables promising engineers to acquire skills required to succeed both individually as well as in Industry. Keeping in view of the technological advancement, the department is fortified by the most qualified and experienced faculty. The department is well equipped with laboratories.

Mechanical Engineering is perhaps the most diverse and versatile of the engineering disciplines. In addition to physics and mathematics, it encompasses key elements of aerospace, electrical, civil, chemical and even materials science and bio-engineering. Mechanical engineering touches virtually every aspect of modern life, from mobile phones and biomedical devices, to aircrafts and power plants. Not only engineering, mechanical engineers deal with economic issues, from the cost of a single component, to the economic impact of a manufacturing plant. Besides this, mechanical engineers can also be found in sales, engineering management, and corporate management. Versatility is another unique advantage in a world that is undergoing constant economic, political, industrial, and social change. Mechanical engineers are educated and positioned, not only to adapt, but to define and direct change. Mechanical Engineers are required in almost every sector of the industry and hence there is high demand for the course. Since the tremendous impact of globalization has been in the field of manufacturing, a mechanical engineering student has an edge over others. The areas of employment are marine, aerospace, aviation, automobile industries, railways, pharmaceuticals, machine tools industries, farm equipments, fabricated metal products and so on.

Department of Mechanical Engineering offers series of value added programmes to fulfill the needs of the students. These programmes are planned for a simple reason that, students cannot learn all the software‟s which are

essential from their professional career in four years. They only learn a maximum of four application software‟s, but from their professional career point of view they should know high end modeling, meshing, structural analysis, thermal analysis, CNC machining software‟s.

Students of this course develop basic skills of fitting, welding, sheet metal, foundry and pass on to be trained in material testing, thermal engineering, manufacturing technology, heat transfer, fluid mechanics & hydraulic machinery, cad and machine tools etc. In addition to that we are providing department library for the students. All these leads to independent, constructive and creative thinking.

Students actively participate in academics, paper & poster presentations, sports and won many momentous with certificates. Faculty members also actively attended in Conferences, seminars, workshops and published national and international journals.

Electrical & Electronics Engineering

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Bheema Institute Of Technology & Science, Adoni offers an undergraduate in Electrical Engineering where students are encouraged to acquire knowledge facilities with an integrated thinking about education research & development, application and training. The students are provided knowledge to understand the fundamental of basic sciences and humanities, inter disciplinary knowledge, innovation, creative problem solving abilities, intellectual honest and professional ethics, capacity for team work in inter disciplinary, national and international environment. The first undergraduate batch is in the year 2008. Since its inception in 2008, the department has always been recognized for excellence.

The fast changing scenario in the Electrical Engineering necessitates the Department to actively extend its Training and development activities. The department focuses on areas like Power Systems & Machines.

The department has five separate laboratories with state of the art computing facilities and a department library with reference books and other materials. Our Campus Placements Programme:

-The BTPC invites prospective companies/organizations/industries in the months of June (Tentative) to August (Tentative) of every Academic Calendar, along with all relevant information to participate in the campus recruitment at the institute. The organizations, in turn, can also contact the institute‟s Chief Placement Officer for their requirement.

-Final Year student‟s details will be sent to the company/organization concerned, as per their requirement, along with a tentative, mutually convenient date for the campus interviews.

-The company/organization may confirm the date or discuss a mutually convenient date, with the placement officer.

-After confirmation by the organizations, a pre-placement talk (PPT), will be arranged on the date. The company will conduct tests and/or group discussions to short list the interested students. If required, telephonic interviews or interviews through video conferencing can be arranged.

-The organization will then interview the short listed students for final selection and will announce the results as soon as possible (preferably on the same day), once the selection process is over.

-Companies announcing results immediately after interviews will be preferred by the institute and the students for early campus interview dates during the next academic year.

Note: Companies unable to finalize the results on the same day and wish to have one more round of interview at their office may do so within a week‟s time.

Our Campus Placement Policy:

-At the beginning of the final year academic calendar, students will be subjected to aptitude tests or will request their careen plan in the written format/personally to know whether the student is going for higher education or seeking an opportunity in the industry.

-The students are requested to submit the willingness to the placement officer before the dead line to apply for particular organizations. Late submissions are not entertained.

-We provide opportunities to all the registered students based on the branch/discipline to get a job.

- Students who decide to withdraw acceptance, he/she should inform the organization through Training and Placement Cell.

- Selected students should work at least for one year in the organization as a matter of policy

- Students selected through campus placements are requested to update their progress and growth with BTPC .

Adoni is a business town in Kurnool district in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It has a rich historical heritage and is an intriguing town for tourists with historical interests. Adoni is located at a distance of 225 kilometers from Hyderabad and 494 kilometers from Chennai by rail. The major languages spoken in the city of Adoni are Telugu, Kannada and Urdu. The culture is a blend of Karnataka and Andhra cultures. It has the oldest municipality which was constituted way back in the year 1865. Bus : Adoni is well connected to major cities of the state by road. Train : Adoni is on the Chennai –Bangalore- Mumbai rail route. It is well connected with all the important places in and outside the Kurnool district. Flight : The nearest airport is at Hyderabad, situated 225-km away from Adoni.
