Projects Summary:

Project #1 : CRM Automation

Organization : IBM India Pvt. Ltd.Client : Idea Cellular, India.Platform : Oracle 10g, UNIX.Duration : Dec 2011 to till date.Team Size : 10.

Description:

This project, better saying processes, are designed to automate the tasks, currentlybeing handled/monitored through manual means like of excel sheets, emailing & etc.

Now, the UNIX shell files & oracle procedures/functions are written for making theinformation directly available to the actual switching team(s) scattered across all thetelecom circles in India. We have implemented this challenging task through 3 means:

a) Making data available in the switching table through existing/newfunctionalities.

b) Making flat files and FTP ping them UNIX shell files to a pre-defined locationon.

c) Making flat files and sending them to some table-configured users email ids.

Most of the functionalities are designed keeping maximum configurability in-mind.

Some UNIX cron jobs are scheduled to call these functionalities.

Roles and Responsibilites:

Had role into the development and optimization of back ends (Oracle) stored

PL/SQL procedure/functions.

Review & wrote the critical stored procedures & functions for better

optimization as we had to work with around 10 million subscribers' data.

Defining naming conventions & code standard at par with the clients norm &

IBMs projects policies. Some UNIX cron jobs are scheduled to call these functionalities.

Description:

The Channel Management Module of Elixir provides the functionality to manage allthe operations of various distributions channels operated by an insurance company.Functions like production, persistency, commission and contest & Awards whichprovides the ability to track the performance by sales staff, team, branch and channel.Commission module is one of the important part of the enhancements for computing

the commissions/incentives of various level employees i.e. advisors, lead generatorsand Agency Managers, Branch Managers and Territory managers.

Responsibilities:

Have taken back-end responsibilities while writing PL/SQL functions, procedures

and triggers in policy transfer module, incentives, agent registration,interfacemodule.

Had done the tuning responsibilities of the queries and back end objects.

Have taken back-end responsibilities while writing the complex queries.

Developed base level metadata for generating various crystal reports.

Working as a member of development team and involved in the preparation of

various database objects to develop the business logic i.e. procedures,functions, packages and triggers.
