Merit will be prepared by adding the percentage of marks obtained in basic minimum prescribed academic qualification and basic minimum prescribed professional qualification. Merit shall be computed by Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, a Scientific Society of Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Govt. of India (C-DAC). General Conditions 1) The candidates applying for post must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions. If on verification at any time before or after appointment it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions or it is found that the information furnished is false or incorrect their candidature will be cancelled. 2) Reservation under ex-serviceman quota is admissible to the bonafide /ex-servicemen or their dependents. Such ex- servicemen/dependent, before issue of appointment letter, shall have to produce a certificate issued by the competent authority appointed by the Government. 3) Candidate seeking reservation under Freedom Fighter Quota will include his/her children/grandchildren. They shall, before the issue of appointment letter, produce such requisite certificate issued by the competent authority. 4) Candidate seeking reservation under sports quota, before the issue of appointment letter, shall have to produce a certificate that they belong to the state of Punjab. They shall also be required to produce before issue of appointment letter a certificate indicating that they have won 1 st , 2 nd or 3 rd position in team or individual events in the State level Championship in any of the discipline affiliated to Punjab Olympic Association organized by the State-Level Federation. In case of reputed Non-Olympic disciplines such as Cricket and Tennis, a winner should have attained any of the 1 st three positions in a State-level Association Affiliated to the concerned National Federation. The sports certificate duly graded by the Director of Sports Punjab shall be a pre-requisite of issue of appointment letter in the case of candidate who applies under sports quota category. 5) Candidate seeking reservation meant for the members of Backward Classes of Punjab State only shall have to produce Backward Class Certificate as prescribed by the State Government issued by the competent authority before the issue of appointment letter. 6) Candidates seeking reservation under Handicapped Quota shall have to produce a Medical Certificate of 40% permanent/partial disability of upper or lower extremity, deformity but otherwise fit for civil employment against the post applied for issued by the competent authority before issue of appointment letter. a) Class-1 Medical Officer of any Govt. Medial Institution/Hospital.

b) PMO, CMO/Civil Surgeon of the District or place of which the applicant is permanent resident.

7) The candidates must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language.

8) Age between 18 to 37 years as on 1.1.2006.

a) Relaxation in age by 5 years for SC/ST and other Backward Classes.

b) Relaxation in age up to 40 years for widows/legally separated/divorced women.

c) To the extent of 10 years for physically handicapped persons on production of Medical Certificate form the competent authority.

d) Ex-servicemen as per Punjab Government Recruitment Rules, 1982 as amended form time to time.

e) 45 years for persons already in the employment of Punjab government other State Government or the Government of India.

9) Only those Government employees shall be eligible to be issued appointment letters who are certified by the Head of the Department as not having any pending disciplinary proceedings or undergoing punishment under Punjab Civil Services (Punish.0ment & Appeal) Rules 1970, or any other applicable Rules as the case may be, not undergoing any trial / prosecution or any other material disqualification in terms of integrity and professional misconduct.

10) The candidate must possess prescribed Educational Qualification and Professional Qualification for the post applied for on OR before the last date of receipt of application. The cut off date for all intents and purposes for eligibility determination is the date on which the application is filed and not any later date such as the date of any document verification or the date of issue of appointment letter or the date of joining.

11) Lower and upper age shall be determined as on 01-01-2006.

12) The benefit of reservations is admissible to the domicile of Punjab only.

13) The calculation details of reserve posts indicated in this advertisement may marginally change in view of Punjab government Department of Personal and Administrative Reforms Letter No. 8/30/96-3 PP-1/17240, dated 21-08-97.

How to apply online

1. Candidate is required to report at any of the below listed authorized Centre alongwith particular of prescribed Qualification & Mark for applying Online alongwith Demand Draft of prescribed amount.

2. At every Centre qualified professional shall be available to assist the candidates to submit Online Application. Such assistance shall be free of cost.

3. Fill out the form available on the site www.cdacmohali.in by clicking at the link Appointment of School Teachers.

4. Get the print out (2 Copies) of the filled form.

5. The registration number generated at the top of the form should be written on the backside of the Demand Draft.

6. Submit the Demand Draft and one copy of the printed filled form duly signed by the candidates & the authorized person of the center and another to be kept by the candidates as receipt for future record and reference.

7. The qualified candidate can see their confirmation from the website itself.

9. Candidates may apply for more than one post by submitting separate application for each post alongwith separate demand draft.

13. Except for application processing fee in the form of Demand Draft as prescribed no other payment is to be made by the candidate at the authorized Centre.

14. Candidate can submit Online application from any of the listed Centres irrespective of his/ her place of residence.

Note: -

1. For those eligible candidates whoever for the time being for whatsoever reasons happen to be residing outside Punjab, they may apply Online at www.cdacmohali.in and deposited the prescribed fee in the account of Director, C-DAC, Mohali Account No. 55034442545 in any branch of State Bank of Patiala and mentioned the receipt No. issued by the bank in the Online Application. In such cases no applicant shall be invalidated on the ground of delay in submission/ transmission a application fee which will be charged if necessary at the time of verification of original documents of the short listed candidates.

2. Candidates will be called for original document inspection as per category wise MERIT LIST, with 10% EXTRA WAITING LIST on an appointed day in person before a HIGH LEVEL COMMITTEE at a specified place before issue of appointment letters. Failure of any candidate to come personally with all complete original documents shall lead to forfeiture of his claim and the next candidate on merit shall be considered there and then. There shall be NO EXTENSION OF DATE WHATSOEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

3. The recruitment SHALL BE MADE SUBJECT TO 100% VERIFICATION of DEGREES & CERTIFICATES from issuing authorities within 6 months and SHALL BE LIABLE TO BE DECLARED NULL AND VOID AB INITIO WITHOUT ANY NOTICE WHATSOVER IN CASE ANY DOCUMENT IS FOUND FAKE OR FORGED.
