Case Example:In one rural So. Georgia county, within 1 year

of the SBHC using telemedicine, absenteeism was reduced by 3%

In this same county, the local ER reported that the incidence of ER usage in the 7-12 age group (3rd-5th grade) was reduced by 27%

Asthma emergencies in this local ER went from 27 encounters to 1 encounter
