I was born in sunny Fullerton, California. (That’s near Disneyland).
Growing up,we had a lemon tree in our backyard.
…I still really like Disneyland and lemons.
Me.
My teacher told my mom I was the “Heartthrob of the forth grade class”.
To bolster my self-esteem, my mom mentioned this frequently, as if it were an actual achievement.
(This was surprisingly effective up until age 12… when independent thought kicked in).
I believe our true selves emerge around age 12.
