BEST Values & Mission

BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) is a voluntary and non-profit European organisation for students of technology. Since 1989, we have been proving communication, cooperation and ex-change opportunities between students from technical faculties and universities around Europe. For 25 years, we have been strengthening the connection between universities, companies and students, thus supporting the latter in achieving their full potential.BEST is one of the biggest student organisation in Europe, present in 96 universities from 33 countries via local BEST groups. As being able to interact with different cultures is an essential quality of a future en-gineer, we therefore encourage students to broaden their international experience and offer them the opportunity to practise their adaptabili-ty to unknown situations.

Through its vision, BEST empowers diversity and brings students to-gether under the same goals. It helps students to achieve an interna-tional mindset, to reach a better understanding of cultures and societ-ies and to develop the capacity to work in culturally diverse environ-ments.The mission of BEST is defined as “developing students”. BEST helps students achieve an international mindset, reach a better understand-ing of cultures and societies and develop the capacity to work in cultur-ally diverse environments. The way that BEST has been employing to achieve aforementioned effects is to create opportunities for the per-sonal development of student and to support them to reach their full potential.
