The ASGE Annual Postgraduate Course at DDW 2019 is an interactive,evidence-based learning opportunity, presented by renowned GI thought leaders. As a course participant, you will learn well-established, practical best practices along with new and innovative approaches to everyday endoscopic challenges.

ASGE’s Annual Postgraduate Course at DDW® is known worldwide for its renowned faculty and dynamic and highly commended case-based presentations. This year’s program, “Best Practices and Emerging Paradigms,” continues the course’s tradition of providing current, practical information on the latest advances in endoscopy in an efficient, interactive format. Integrating evidence-based, state-of-the-art lectures and expert opinion from thought leaders on the most pressing questions in the field of endoscopy, this course will include ample video cases, expert panels and plenty of time for questions from the audience, all focused on the evolving trends in endoscopic oncology.
The 2019 course will be held Sunday afternoon and Monday morning, May 19-20. You can choose to attend the entire course over both days or in half-day intervals to suit your interests and schedule.

•State-of-the-art, evidence-based lectures and video cases on diverse topics including, but not limited to, detection and eradication of dysplastic Barrett’s, endoscopic therapy for ampullary and duodenal adenomas, acute upper GI bleeding, missed colorectal cancer, endoscopic closure techniques, endoscopic bariatric therapies, pancreatic cysts, familial pancreatic cancer, ERCP Cannulation, EUS biliary access techniques, chromoendoscopy, update on endoscope reprocessing, and more

The ASGE Annual Postgraduate Course, held in conjunction with DDW 2019, returns to beautiful San Diego. We are excited to bring together experts from across the globe to present evidence-based and outcomes-driven endoscopic management of gastrointestinal and related disorders. This will include discussions on tools and techniques, tips and tricks to achieve your own optimal outcomes for everyday as well as advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. We will present innovations in endoscopy that have led to paradigm shifts in disease management and practical approaches to incorporate them into your practice. The broad spectrum of gastrointestinal endoscopy including colonoscopy, endoscopic resection techniques, enhanced imaging, Barrett’s eradication, pancreaticobiliary endoscopy and obesity management will be covered. We will integrate didactic lectures, case-based discussion, video-cases, and panel discussions with audience participation to optimize the learning experience.
