أفضل الدعاء الحمد هلل The Best Dua is Alhumdulillah

#2323 رمضان 143610.7.15

And they will say : Praise to Allah , who has fulfilled for us His promise and made us inherit

the earth [so] we may settle in Paradise wherever we will. And excellent is the reward

of [righteous] workers سورة الزمر 39:74

When the people of Jannah will be settled in Jannah, they praise Allah for giving them these great blessings, and for guiding them.

They praise the One who fulfilled His promises, that if they believe and reformed themselves, by doing righteous good deeds, they would enter Jannah. You must believe the promises of Allah in life, and act upon them.

They praise Allah, who made them inherit the land of Jannah, where they are the real owners. They can go around Jannah wherever they want, with no boundaries. In life they abided by the restrictions and boundaries set by Allah, so in Jannah, they have complete freedom. They can go wherever they please, partake of any blessing there. There is nothing forbidden, it's the perfect free life. Dunya is a test, so there are rules and regulations to follow.

This is the promise of Allah; if you follow the rules of Allah, you go to the peaceful land, Jannah. If you disobey, you go to the land of the punishment, the hellfire.

For the believer, dunya is a struggle, and akhirah is a pleasure. In dunya, there is no comfort except in the remembrance of Allah. When you are in a study circle, reciting the words of Allah, you are safe and secure, even though you may have problems in life.

In Jannah, everything is pleasure, for the body and the heart. The dwellers therein worked hard for their Rabb.

Life is short, so they struggled for the pleasure of Allah.

A great favour given to the Muslim nation is that they work less and get a greater reward, because their deeds are multiplied. This was not the case with the previous nations, who had to do a lot of worship, but didn't have the blessing of having their deeds multiplied, so they ended up with less than the muslimeen.

The life span of the human beings has decreased. This is also a blessing from Allah, because, as we near the Day of Judgement, the trials and tribulations we face also increase. So we have short lives so that we have to face less of them.

For women also, Allah has given special privileges.

The Messenger of Allah صلى اهلل عليه و سلم said : مثلكم ومثل أهل الكتابني كمثل رجل استأجر أجراء فقال من يعمل لي من غدوة إلى نصف النهار على قيراط ، قال من فعملت اليهود، ثم قال من يعمل لي من نصف النهار إلى صالة العصر على قيراط فعملت النصارى ثممس على قيراطني فأنتم هم، فغضبت اليهود والنصارى، فقالوا ما لنا أكثر يعمل لي من العصر إلى أن تغيب الش

عمال، وأقل عطاء قال هل نقصتكم من حقكم قالوا ال. قال فذلك فضلي أوتيه من أشاء.صحيح البخاري ، حديث # 2268

Your example and the example of the people of the two Scriptures (i.e. Jews and Christians) is like the example of a man who employed some laborers and asked them : Who will work for me from morning till midday for one Qirat?The Jews accepted and carried out the work. He then asked :

Who will work for me from midday up to the `Asr prayer for one Qirat? The Christians accepted and fulfilled the work. He then said : Who will work for me from the `Asr till sunset for two Qirats? You,

Muslims have accepted the offer. The Jews and the Christians got angry and said : Why should we work more and get lesser wages? (Allah) said : Have I withheld part of your right? They replied in

the negative. He said : It is My Blessing, I bestow upon whomever I wish.

Such simple deeds and such a great reward! Yet the Prophet صلى اهلل عليه و سلم said he saw a majority of women in the hellfire.

And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne, exalting [ Allah ] with praise of their Lord. And it will be judged between

them in truth, and it will be said, [All] praiseto Allah , Lord of the worlds.

38:75

The dwellers of Jannah will see with their eyes, the angels encircling the Throne of Allah, admiring Him, and confessing to His magnificence, negating all imperfections from Him, and attributing all praises to

Him.

The people of Jannah will say الحمد هلل رب because Allah dealt with them with العاملنيHis bounty, الفضل .

The people of Hell will say الحمد هلل رب العاملني because Allah dealt with them with His justice, العدل.
