There is something about riding on

horseback along the shore of a secluded

any standard. After your ride you will

take a short break to cosy up by a beach

fire where a fresh picnic with local

delicacies and wine awaits you. This is

MYKONOS SUNSET BY SEA

Set sail from Ornos port and head to the

beach of Kapari and Agios Ioannis.

End your evening on little Venice sipping

a cocktail on board and taking in the view

of Mykonos Town while the sun sets for

the day. These trips are taken on a sailing

boat and there are a variety of

personalized experiences available

depending on the level of experience.

Perhaps the very best sailing experience on the island where you will spend the day basking in the sun and visiting one of the most famous ancient ruins of the island. Anchor in one of Rhenia’s secluded bays to enjoy the privacy of a fine sand beach with no crowds. You will have plenty of time to swim and snorkel in the crystal clear waters, sunbathe on the beach or even explore the island itself by foot. Back on board, reward yourself with selected Mykonian tastes and a drink. You will then arrive at Delos Island where your private tour guide awaits. Delos is the the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis and you will be amazed by the mythological, historical and archaeological importance of this sacred island. As you set sail back to shore, the crew will be happy to show you how to trim the sails of a sailing boat.

FROM COVE TO CATCH

Experience an alternative approach to Mykonos life by embarking on a local caïque, a traditional fishing boat experience especially for you. Depart from the picturesque Ornos cove and visit all the south beaches of the island including Psarrou, Paranga, Super Paradise, Kalo Livadi and Fragia. Select the perfect swimming spot and take a dip in the crisp, clear Mykonian water or bask in the sun and enjoy some serene time onboard. At a specially designated point your captain will stop for fishing. You will be welcome to join in or simply sit back, relax and watch the experienced fishermen, who provide the freshest of fish and seafood on the island, go about their work. Enjoy your delicious catch of the day with a rustic BBQ on a small beach.

Learn from talented local expert Eleni

Melirrytou, who will offer fascinating

glimpses into Mykonian traditions – from

a visit to the market to explore the many

fresh ingredients to a chat with the local

bakers at the oldest bakery on the island.

You will then enjoy a hands-on cooking

class in a beautiful location by the sea or

in a private home, with the chance to

learn the techniques used in traditional

Greek cooking. Courses and dishes can

be tailored to your preference and

recipes will be available to take home so

that you may continue to hone your

culinary skills and create gastronomic

feasts for all to enjoy.
