The original idea for developing personalised sleep packs was presented at the StarWards festival in September 2008 in a Dragons Den style feat re! Teams wereasked to bid for a virt al amo nt of "#0$000$ with an act al amo nt of "#00 beingawarded to the winning proposals to improve service sers e%periences on wards&'ppendi% ()!

The sleep packs are sed as part of the 7Ts overall strategy to look at an individ alsday to day ro tine and to enco rage participation in a +eaningf l Day whilst in theconstraints of a hospital environment!

the day! t is these people we target with the sleep packs with the aim of a betternights sleep enabling better daytime f nctioning and therefore more opport nity forpositive o tcomes within 7T!

Use of packs

's part of the 7T assessment and intervention processes$ the personalised packsare sed to look at what might help an individ al$ based on disc ssions abo t whythey are finding it hard to sleep and what techni6 es they may have already tried!Sleep diaries will be sed if appropriate and if a service ser wo ld like to do so 9most often a disc ssion is all that is necessary!
