SUBMISSION OF RESEARCH PROPOSALS FOR SY 2021-2022 (REGIONAL LEVEL CATEGORY)

1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 16, s. 2017 entitled “Research Management G uidelines” this Office, through the School Division Research Committee (SDRC) is accepting Basic and Action research proposals for SY 2021-2022 until A u g u st 23, 2021.
2. The research proposal should follow the attached prescribed template and research topic/area sh o u ld be anchored on the research agenda stipulated in the following issuances:
a. Regional Memoradum No. 141, s. 2020“Regional Research Priority Topics in the New Normal”
b. DepEd Order No. 39, s. 2016“Adoption of the Basic Education Research Agenda”
3. The attached Division Memorandum No. 6, s. 2021 entitled “Guidelines of the Submission of Research Proposals and Completed Research Reports” should be followed in the submission of the research proposals. This memorandum and its inclosures can be downloaded from these links: 1) http://deDediloilocity.net and 2) http://tinyurl.com/ ResearchFiles2020.
4. In addition, the School Research Committee (SRC) are advised to properly review the completeness and accuracy of data of the required documents. The District Research Committee (DRC) will evaluate the research proposal based on the attached Guide for Appraising Basic/Applied and Action Research Proposals. Proposals with scores 70% will be submitted to the Division Office together with the accomplished District and School Evaluation Results Summary Form (Inclosure No. U).
5. Research proposal and the title should vary from the researches already conducted based on the List of Approved BERF Researches 2016 - 2020 which can be viewed and downloaded from the links stated above.
6. The data gathering procedures and the implementation of intervention/innovation/ strategy should strictly adhere to the public health standard and policies set by the Department of Health, the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (AITF-MEID), LGU and DepEd.
7. Research proposal and the required documents will be submitted to the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD), do Planning and Research Section, in hard copies (4 sets) and soft copies to be sent to this email address divplanninci. sdoiloilocitv& gm ail.com following the sequence as listed below:

1. In order to facilitate the submission of researches in the Schools Division Office for evaluation and approval, the research proposals and completed researches should be coursed through the School Research Committee (SRC) and the District Research Committee (DRC) for screening, evaluation, editing and review.
2. The research topic/area should anchor with Basic Education Research Agenda (DepEd Order 39, s. 2016) and the Regional Research Priority Topics in the New Normal (Regional Memorandum No. 141, s 2020) and that will be reflected in the Application Form.
3. The research proposal should follow the prescribed outlines/templates (Inclosure No. 1) and the evaluation should be based on the Guide for Appraising the Action and Basic Research Proposals (Inclosures Nos. 5 & 6)
4. Along with the research proposal, the following reviewed required documents are to be included in the submission to the Division Office:
a) Application Form with Endorsement of Immediate Supervisor (Inclosure No. 2);b) Declaration of Anti-Plagiarism Form (inclosure No 3),c) Declaration of Absence of Conflict of interest Form (Inclosure No 4);d) Certification of Validity and Reliability of the researcher made instrument/tool;e) Research Instrument/lool;f) Data Privacy Consent Form (Inclosure No. 11); andg) Research Proposal Evaluation and Review Sheet signed by

5. Moreover, the completed research report (manuscript) should follow the prescribed completed research report template (inclosures Nos 7 & 8) It should be edited and reviewed by the School and District Research Committees and the signed Completed Research Review Sheet (Inclosure No. 10) is attached before submission to the Division Office.
6. The composition of the School and District Research Committees are as follows:
